About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Community Outreach Coordinator to join their team in Bristol . This role is critical for engaging with diverse community groups, building relationships, and promoting awareness of the organization's services and initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies, organizing community events, and acting as a key liaison between the organization and the public. The hybrid nature of this role allows for strategic planning and administrative tasks to be conducted remotely, complemented by essential face-to-face engagement within the vibrant Bristol community.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive community outreach strategies and plans.
Organize, promote, and manage community events, workshops, and information sessions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and stakeholders.
Represent the organization at community functions and public forums.
Gather feedback from the community to inform service development and outreach efforts.
Create engaging outreach materials, including flyers, social media content, and presentations.

Requirements

Proven experience in community engagement, outreach, or event management.
Strong understanding of community dynamics and diverse cultural backgrounds.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in using digital tools for communication, marketing, and record-keeping.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently as well as part of a team.
