Key Responsibilities
- Engage with community members to identify needs and deliver appropriate support services.
- Assist individuals in accessing local amenities, welfare benefits, and educational or employment opportunities.
- Organize and facilitate community-based activities and group support sessions.
- Collaborate with local authorities, charities, and voluntary organizations to create a network of support.
- Monitor client progress, providing regular updates and adjusting support plans as necessary.
- Promote awareness of available services and encourage community participation.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a community development, social care, or outreach role.
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenges faced by diverse community groups.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people from various backgrounds.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage a caseload.
- A driving license and access to a vehicle for community outreach may be required.
