About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented Computer Vision Engineer to join their dedicated R&D team in Glasgow, Scotland, UK . You will be at the forefront of developing and implementing advanced computer vision algorithms and systems for a range of innovative applications. This hands-on role involves working with cutting-edge technologies in image recognition, object detection, and scene understanding, contributing directly to the evolution of our client's product offerings in the Artificial Intelligence domain. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms for real-time applications.
- Implement solutions for tasks such as image classification, object detection, segmentation, and tracking.
- Work with large image and video datasets, including data augmentation and preprocessing.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate vision models into larger systems and products.
- Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in the computer vision field.
- Test and validate the performance of computer vision models in diverse environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computer vision.
- 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying computer vision systems.
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Python, along with computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV).
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) for vision tasks.
- Familiarity with image processing techniques and camera calibration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
