About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and skilled Computer Vision Engineer to join their innovative technology team in Plymouth . This role focuses on developing and implementing advanced computer vision algorithms and systems for a range of applications. You will work on projects involving image analysis, object detection, image segmentation, and 3D reconstruction, contributing to the development of intelligent visual systems. We are looking for an engineer with a strong background in computer vision and machine learning, eager to apply their expertise to solve challenging problems and enhance product capabilities with visual intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms and models for real-time applications.
- Implement solutions for tasks such as image classification, object detection, tracking, and scene understanding.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate computer vision models into larger systems.
- Process and analyze large image and video datasets for model training and evaluation.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in computer vision and deep learning.
- Contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to deployment and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Computer Vision.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying computer vision algorithms and applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, and experience with libraries such as OpenCV.
- Strong knowledge of deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their application to computer vision tasks.
- Experience with image processing techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with data augmentation and handling large image datasets is desirable.
