About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to assist in managing operations at various sites in and around Sunderland . You will work closely with the Site Manager, ensuring that construction activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role is essential for the smooth day-to-day running of construction projects, requiring hands-on supervision and a commitment to upholding company standards. Contribute to the success of building projects in the Sunderland region by ensuring all work is supervised effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities, directing labour and subcontractors as required.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies on site.
• Monitor work progress against the project schedule, reporting any delays or issues promptly.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers are aware of safety procedures and site rules.
• Maintain site tidiness and organization, ensuring materials are stored correctly.
• Assist with the management of site records, including daily reports and delivery notes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role on construction sites.
• Good understanding of construction processes and techniques.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with site teams and management.
• A relevant trade qualification or CSCS card is essential.
