About the Role

Our client is looking for a hands-on and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on building sites in and around Derby . This role involves managing site teams, ensuring adherence to safety standards, coordinating work activities, and maintaining quality throughout the construction process. You will be essential in translating project plans into tangible results on the ground, working within a well-respected construction firm in Derbyshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily work of construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
• Implement and enforce all site-specific health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Monitor the quality of work performed, ensuring it meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project management team.
• Manage site logistics, including material delivery, storage, and equipment usage.
• Maintain accurate daily records of site activities, personnel, and any incidents.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman in the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and site management techniques .
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Commitment to health and safety, with a proactive approach to risk management.
• CSCS card or relevant certification is required.
