Our client is looking for a sharp and analytical Credit Risk Analyst to join their growing team in Bradford . This position is crucial for assessing the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients, managing credit exposures, and developing strategies to mitigate financial risk. Key Responsibilities

Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower credit risk.
Develop and implement credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks.
Monitor existing loan portfolios for signs of credit deterioration and recommend appropriate actions.
Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for loan approval or denial.
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and external regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with lending teams and business units to manage credit risk effectively.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience (at least 3 years) in credit analysis, risk management, or a similar role within a financial institution.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Knowledge of financial markets, credit products, and risk assessment techniques.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, R).
Excellent report writing and presentation skills, based in or willing to relocate to Bradford .
