About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Data Scientist with a specialization in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join their fully remote team. You will be instrumental in extracting valuable insights from unstructured text data, developing sophisticated NLP models, and applying these to enhance client products and services. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and deploy advanced NLP models for tasks such as sentiment analysis, topic modeling, text summarization, and question answering.
- Process and analyze large volumes of text data, performing feature engineering and data cleaning specific to NLP challenges.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate NLP models into production systems and applications.
- Design experiments to evaluate model performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in NLP and machine learning.
- Communicate complex findings and model behaviors to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Linguistics, Data Science, or a related field with an NLP focus.
- 3+ years of experience in data science, with a significant portion dedicated to NLP projects.
- Proficiency in Python and relevant NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers).
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) for NLP tasks.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
