About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and innovative DeFi Protocol Developer to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent . You will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying decentralized finance protocols that are shaping the future of financial services. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex and rewarding projects within the rapidly expanding Crypto & Blockchain ecosystem. As part of our on-site team, you will collaborate closely with fellow engineers and product managers to bring groundbreaking DeFi solutions to life, contributing directly to the evolution of decentralized finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test sophisticated decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and smart contracts.
• Implement and optimize core DeFi functionalities such as lending, borrowing, trading, and yield farming.
• Conduct rigorous security audits and ensure the robustness and safety of deployed DeFi protocols.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product managers to create user-friendly and effective DeFi applications.
• Monitor and maintain the performance and stability of live DeFi protocols.
• Stay informed about the latest trends, innovations, and security considerations in the DeFi and broader blockchain space.

Requirements

• Strong experience in smart contract development, with a significant focus on DeFi protocols.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity and experience with frameworks like Hardhat or Truffle.
• Deep understanding of DeFi concepts, including AMMs, lending protocols, stablecoins, and yield strategies.
• Experience with various blockchain networks and their respective development environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for building secure and efficient financial applications.
• Ability to work effectively within an on-site team environment in Stoke-on-Trent .
