About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and data-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join their expanding marketing team in Edinburgh , focusing on the dynamic FMCG sector. This role is instrumental in developing and executing online marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and increase sales. You will manage various digital channels, including social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and paid advertising. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing trends and analytics, with a passion for leveraging online platforms to achieve business objectives for consumer brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (social media, search engines, email, etc.).
- Optimize website content and structure for search engines (SEO ) to improve organic visibility and traffic.
- Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns (SEM , social media ads) to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
- Create engaging and relevant content for social media, blogs, and other digital channels to build brand community.
- Analyze digital marketing performance metrics, track KPIs, and provide regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices in the FMCG industry .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing , preferably within the FMCG or consumer goods sector.
- Proven experience with SEO/SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content creation.
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media management platforms, and email marketing software.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative mindset.
