About the Role
Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Distribution Centre Administrator to support their operations in Norwich . This hybrid role is vital for the smooth running of the distribution centre, managing essential administrative tasks that support logistics and warehouse functions. You will be responsible for data entry, record keeping, liaising with staff, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills to become an integral part of a busy and dynamic logistics team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare and process various logistics and warehouse documentation.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and other departments.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including data entry and reconciliation.
- Schedule deliveries and coordinate with transport providers.
- Handle general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and responding to inquiries.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within logistics or a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
