About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Drilling Supervisor to manage their drilling operations near Reading . You will lead a team of drillers and support staff, manage equipment, and ensure compliance with all operational and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily drilling activities, including crew management and equipment deployment.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, operating procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor drilling progress, performance, and the condition of drilling equipment.
• Conduct pre-job safety meetings and ongoing safety inspections.
• Train and mentor drillers and crew members, promoting a culture of safety and competence.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a drilling role, with a proven track record as a supervisor or foreman.
• In-depth knowledge of various drilling techniques (e.g., diamond core drilling, reverse circulation).
• Strong understanding of drilling equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid certifications in safety and first aid are essential.
