About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced E-commerce Manager to oversee and grow their online sales channels for FMCG products. This hybrid role combines remote flexibility with essential in-office collaboration, allowing you to drive strategy and execution for their digital retail presence. You will be responsible for managing the e-commerce platform, optimizing product listings, driving online traffic, and enhancing the customer shopping experience. This is a key role in expanding the company's reach within the competitive fast-moving consumer goods market, working closely with marketing, sales, and IT departments to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive sales and profitability.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the online store, including product uploads, content updates, and order fulfillment oversight.
- Optimize product listings, descriptions, and imagery for maximum search engine visibility and conversion.
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (PPC, SEO, social media, email) to drive qualified traffic to the e-commerce site.
- Analyze e-commerce data, including sales trends, customer behavior, and website performance, to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital touchpoints.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in e-commerce management , specifically within the FMCG sector or a related industry.
- Proven ability to drive online sales growth through strategic initiatives and campaign execution.
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media strategies for e-commerce.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model, balancing remote work with office-based responsibilities in Southampton .
