Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive E-commerce Operations Assistant to support their online retail business in Plymouth . This role is vital for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the e-commerce platform, from managing product listings to handling customer inquiries and coordinating fulfillment. You will work closely with the operations and marketing teams to enhance the customer experience and support sales growth. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update product listings on the e-commerce website, ensuring accuracy of descriptions, pricing, and images.
- Process and track customer orders, coordinating with fulfillment and shipping partners to ensure timely delivery.
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and social media, providing excellent support and resolving issues effectively.
- Monitor inventory levels and liaise with suppliers to maintain adequate stock.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on sales, inventory, and customer service metrics.
- Support the marketing team with social media updates and content posting as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, or e-commerce support role.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
