About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive E-commerce Operations Specialist to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of their online retail operations. In this critical role, based in Milton Keynes , you will be responsible for managing inventory, order fulfillment, logistics, and customer service inquiries related to online purchases. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be key to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, contributing directly to the success of our client's e-commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the entire order fulfillment process, from order placement to final delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage inventory levels across all sales channels, coordinating with warehouse teams to maintain stock availability and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Coordinate with shipping carriers and logistics partners to optimize delivery routes and costs.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, shipping, and returns promptly and professionally.
Implement and refine e-commerce operational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Generate regular reports on key operational metrics such as order volume, fulfillment times, and return rates.

Requirements

Previous experience in e-commerce operations , logistics, or supply chain management.
Proficiency with inventory management systems and order processing software.
Strong understanding of shipping procedures and logistics networks.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
