E-commerce Operations Specialist

About the Role

Our client seeks a detail-oriented and proactive E-commerce Operations Specialist to support their online business functions in Milton Keynes . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of their e-commerce operations, from inventory management and order fulfillment to website maintenance and customer service support. You will play a key part in optimizing processes to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the seamless delivery of products and services to customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage online order processing and fulfillment workflows, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and manage e-commerce inventory levels across all sales channels, coordinating with suppliers as needed.
• Maintain and update product listings, descriptions, and pricing on the e-commerce website.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to website functionality, order errors, or shipping delays.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure efficient shipping and delivery.
• Assist in the analysis of operational performance data to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in e-commerce operations , logistics, or supply chain management.
• Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and order management systems.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
