About the Role
Our client is looking for a strategic and data-driven E-commerce Social Media Strategist to lead their online engagement efforts in Belfast . This senior role will be responsible for defining and implementing overarching social media strategies that directly support e-commerce growth and brand building. You will analyse market trends, identify target audience behaviours, and translate these insights into actionable campaign plans. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, long-term social media strategy aligned with e-commerce sales targets and brand objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation to inform strategic decisions.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality, platform-specific content that resonates with target demographics and drives conversions.
- Manage paid social advertising budgets, optimizing campaigns for maximum ROI and customer acquisition.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on social media performance, providing strategic recommendations.
- Mentor and guide junior social media team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in social media marketing, with a significant focus on e-commerce strategy.
- Proven success in developing and executing strategic social media plans that have demonstrably driven e-commerce revenue.
- Expertise in social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads) and advanced analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce principles, customer journeys, and conversion rate optimization.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into clear strategies.
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
