Early Years Educator

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging and educational activities for children aged 0-5 years.
• Observe, support, and document children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and hygiene of all children under your care.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents, and carers.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to maintain a high standard of care and education.
• Assist in creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education and Care).
• Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting.
• A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for early childhood development and a patient, caring attitude.
• Awareness of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
