Early Years Educator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join their dedicated team in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is integral to providing a stimulating and safe environment where young children can thrive and develop. You will be responsible for delivering engaging activities, supporting children's learning and development, and ensuring their well-being. Working within a supportive and professional setting, you will contribute to the daily care and education of children aged 0-5, helping them build essential skills and confidence. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development across all areas of the EYFS.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents.
• Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all children.
• Support children's emotional and social development, fostering positive relationships.
• Assist with meal times, nappy changes, and personal care routines as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive team atmosphere in Tyne and Wear .

Requirements

• A minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
• Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting.
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and parents.
• A proactive and caring attitude, with a genuine passion for early childhood education.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to child protection.
