About the Role
Our client is looking for a dynamic and nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Lead Teacher to guide their dedicated team in Nottingham . This leadership role is central to providing an exceptional learning experience for young children, fostering their development across all areas of the EYFS framework. You will be responsible for setting the educational vision for the early years setting, managing staff, and ensuring a safe, stimulating, and play-based learning environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of high-quality early years education, ensuring compliance with the EYFS framework .
- Manage and mentor the EYFS teaching and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team.
- Oversee the assessment of children's progress and development, maintaining accurate records and reporting to parents.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration through play.
- Liaise with parents and carers, building strong partnerships to support children's learning and well-being.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised early years qualification (e.g., Level 3 in Childcare).
- Proven experience working within the Early Years Foundation Stage , with leadership responsibilities.
- A deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum, child development, and play-based learning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
