About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their vibrant nursery team in Newcastle upon Tyne . You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to young children, supporting their development across all areas. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities that meet the diverse needs of children aged 0-5.
• Observe and assess children's progress, contributing to their learning and development records.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and happiness of all children in your care, adhering to strict safeguarding policies.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and stimulating learning environment, managing resources effectively.
• Support the overall aims and objectives of the nursery, participating in team meetings and training.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with children in an early years setting.
• Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A passion for early years education and child development.
