About the Role
Our client is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to lead a classroom in their esteemed nursery in Cambridge . You will be responsible for creating an inspiring and stimulating learning environment, developing and implementing a creative curriculum, and fostering the holistic development of young children. This role requires a dedicated professional who is passionate about early education and committed to nurturing the potential of every child. You will work collaboratively with a team of educators to maintain the highest standards of care and learning within a reputable Cambridgeshire setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality early years education in accordance with the EYFS curriculum .
- Assess children's learning and development through ongoing observation and targeted activities.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Liaise effectively with parents and carers to support children's learning at home and school.
- Lead and mentor other members of the early years team within your classroom.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised early years teaching qualification.
- Experience in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Strong understanding of child development, pedagogy, and assessment strategies.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
