Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts for new and existing products.
- Specify electrical components, materials, and equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements and budgets.
- Conduct feasibility studies and design reviews to assess the viability and effectiveness of proposed electrical solutions.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are optimized for efficient and cost-effective production.
- Perform design validation and verification activities, including prototyping and testing.
- Provide technical support during the product development lifecycle and to the after-sales service team.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, with a strong portfolio of design projects.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD).
- Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and digital/analog circuit design.
- Understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
