About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Electrical Project Engineer to join their team in Southampton . This role involves managing the electrical aspects of various engineering projects, from initial design through to final commissioning and handover. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all electrical engineering activities for assigned projects.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for electrical scope of work.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Oversee the design, procurement, installation, and testing of electrical equipment and systems.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving technical and logistical challenges as they arise.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in project engineering or project management within an electrical engineering context.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems design , installation, and commissioning processes.
- Proficiency with project management software and CAD tools .
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with hybrid work flexibility.
