Electrical Project Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Electrical Project Engineer to manage and execute electrical projects within a fully remote framework, based out of Portsmouth . This role requires a skilled professional to oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating resources, managing risks, and liaising with stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, from planning and design to execution and close-out.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all project deliverables comply with relevant electrical standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Communicate project status, updates, and critical issues to stakeholders regularly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management, specifically within electrical engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project teams effectively.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
