About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Design and engineer integrated energy storage systems (ESS), including battery technology selection, power electronics, and control strategies.
- Develop technical specifications, P&IDs, and system architecture documentation for ESS projects.
- Conduct performance simulations and analyses to optimise ESS design and operation.
- Oversee the procurement, installation, and commissioning of ESS projects, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, software developers, and grid operators.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing and new energy storage installations. li>
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the design and engineering of battery energy storage systems .
- Strong knowledge of battery chemistries (e.g., Lithium-ion), inverters, and energy management systems (EMS).
- Experience with grid-connected ESS and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) and CAD tools.
