English & Maths Tutor - Anglesey

Location: Anglesey Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: October 2026 Duration: Ongoing

Prospero Teaching are looking for a versatile English and Maths Tutor to deliver individualised tuition to a learner in Anglesey.

The successful candidate will support the development of core academic skills through structured, engaging sessions tailored to the learner's individual circumstances.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver 1:1 tuition in English and Maths Assess existing skills and identify learning priorities Develop literacy, numeracy and problem-solving abilities Plan accessible lessons with clear objectives Adapt resources to suit individual learning needs Encourage participation, independence and confidence Maintain appropriate records of learner progress

Requirements

Strong knowledge of English and Maths Experience teaching or tutoring children and young people Ability to deliver engaging personalised sessions Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Flexible and learner-focused approach Experience supporting learners with additional needs desirable Relevant teaching qualification or tutoring experience desirable Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one Right to Work in the UK Two professional child-related references
