About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Installation & Maintenance Engineer to join their operational team in Leeds . This is a hands-on role focused on the precise installation, calibration, and ongoing maintenance of sophisticated industrial equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and configure new equipment according to technical specifications and installation manuals.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment uptime and reliability.
• Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Conduct performance testing and calibration of equipment post-installation and after repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of all installation, maintenance, and repair activities performed.
• Adhere strictly to all company health and safety policies and procedures during all operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in installing and maintaining complex machinery or industrial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, with excellent diagnostic skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
• Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., HND, HNC, NVQ) in Engineering or a related field are required.
