About the Role

You will be the key liaison between clients and the catering team, managing logistics, staffing, and on-site delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of event catering operations, from initial client consultation to post-event evaluation.
• Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely and high-quality food production and delivery according to event specifications.
• Plan and manage event staffing, including recruitment, training, and scheduling of front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Conduct site visits and liaise with venue managers to ensure smooth event setup and execution.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event management, hospitality, or catering management, preferably in a client-facing role.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience with budget management and cost control within the event or catering industry.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules in Coventry .
