About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Farm Hand to join their agricultural operations near Plymouth . This role requires a hands-on approach to a variety of farm tasks, contributing to the smooth running of daily activities. You will be involved in crop cultivation, livestock care, general farm maintenance, and operating farm machinery under the guidance of the farm manager. This is an ideal position for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a passion for agriculture in the beautiful coastal region of Devon .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planting, tending, and harvesting crops according to seasonal schedules.
• Feed and care for livestock, ensuring their health and well-being.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm buildings, fences, and equipment.
• Operate tractors and other farm machinery safely and efficiently for various tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness across the farm premises.
• Follow instructions from the farm manager and contribute positively to the team environment.
• Assist with general farm duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.

Requirements

• Previous experience in agricultural work or a strong interest in farming is preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in all weather conditions.
