About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive annual farm plans, including crop rotation, planting schedules, and harvesting strategies.
- Manage livestock health, breeding programs, and feeding regimes to optimize production and welfare.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of farm machinery and equipment, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Supervise and manage farm staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Implement and monitor sustainable farming practices to enhance soil health and minimize environmental impact.
- Manage farm finances, including budgeting, cost control, and record-keeping for compliance and analysis.
Requirements
- Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven track record of successful farm management, with at least 7 years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of crop science, soil management, and pest/disease control.
- Experience with livestock management, including breeding, nutrition, and health.
- Proficiency in farm business management, including budgeting and financial analysis.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
