Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to lead their finance function in Leeds . This senior leadership position is responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial operations, including financial planning, risk management, compliance, and reporting. You will play a key role in driving financial performance, implementing robust internal controls, and providing critical insights to the executive team. Key Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning, and analysis.
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
Manage the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and tax laws.
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
Proven track record in a Financial Controller or senior finance management role.
In-depth knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with financial systems and ERP software.
