About the Role

Our client is searching for an accomplished and strategic Financial Controller to oversee all financial aspects of their business operations in Brighton . This senior position is responsible for financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting. You will play a crucial role in shaping the company's financial strategy, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, and driving profitability. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's long-term objectives.
• Oversee the accounting department, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage and improve internal control systems and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Conduct financial analysis, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Manage cash flow , investments, and financial risk.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
• Proven track record in a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
• Exceptional leadership, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
• Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
