About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Planning Manager to lead their strategic financial initiatives in Brighton . This hybrid role is responsible for overseeing the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support long-term strategic planning and scenario analysis.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, variance analyses, and executive summaries for senior management.
- Partner with department heads to understand their financial needs and provide support for budget management.
- Identify key financial drivers, risks, and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations for performance improvement.
- Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering their professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is advantageous.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), with leadership experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , financial modeling software, and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and corporate finance principles.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders in a hybrid work setting.
