About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and strategic Financial Planning Manager to lead their financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function on a fully remote basis. This role is crucial for developing robust financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans that support the company's growth objectives. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership across all departments to provide data-driven insights, performance analysis, and recommendations for optimizing financial performance. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support long-range strategic planning and scenario analysis.
- Prepare monthly performance reports, analyzing variances against budget and forecast, and providing actionable insights.
- Partner with department heads to understand their financial needs, provide guidance, and ensure effective resource allocation.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish reporting mechanisms to track business performance.
- Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and analytical capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Expertise with financial planning software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels in a remote setting.
