About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all culinary and beverage operations at their esteemed hotel in Birmingham . You will be responsible for managing multiple dining outlets, event catering, and bar services, ensuring consistent quality, exceptional guest satisfaction, and profitability. This role requires a strategic leader with a passion for gastronomy and a keen eye for operational efficiency. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue, maintaining brand standards, and creating memorable dining experiences for all guests, contributing to the vibrant culinary scene of the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of all hotel food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and banqueting.
• Develop menus, source high-quality suppliers, and manage inventory to optimize costs and ensure profitability.
• Lead and train food and beverage staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team environment.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the department.
• Implement innovative promotions and events to drive sales and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and report on key metrics to senior management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management within the hospitality industry.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple F&B outlets and high-volume events.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends, menu engineering, and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant POS systems and inventory management software.
• A formal qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field is advantageous.
