Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive testing on game builds to identify bugs, glitches, and performance issues.
- Write clear, detailed, and accurate bug reports, including steps to reproduce and severity levels.
- Verify fixes implemented by the development team through rigorous regression testing.
- Provide constructive feedback on gameplay mechanics, user interface, and overall game design.
- Collaborate with project managers and developers to meet testing objectives and deadlines.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of QA processes and best practices.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Games Tester or in a similar QA role.
- Proficiency with modern bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and game development cycles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Must be eligible to work remotely within the UK and maintain a dedicated home office setup.
