About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Execute detailed test cases and scenarios across various game features and mechanics.
• Identify, document, and prioritize bugs and gameplay issues using established reporting tools.
• Perform regression testing to confirm the successful implementation of bug fixes.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on game balance, difficulty curves, and overall player engagement.
• Communicate findings clearly and concisely to the development team to facilitate timely issue resolution.
• Contribute to the refinement of test plans and QA procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Games Tester or Quality Assurance role, with a focus on video games.
• A profound passion for gaming and a comprehensive understanding of game development processes.
• Proficiency in bug-tracking software like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and systematic problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for effective team collaboration.
