Gantry Crane Operator

Salary: £595 to £801.13 per week (£14.00 to £18.85 per hour)

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, 6am to 3:30pma

Gantry Crane Operator - The Role:

Reporting to our Yard Manager, you will operate goliath or gantry cranes to load and unload vehicles such as articulated flatbeds with sectional steel products. You will ensure all jobs meet required deadlines while maintaining strict Health and Safety procedures at all times. You will be fully trained in all aspects of handling and loading sectional steel products, and you will have opportunities for paid overtime on Saturdays at time and a half.

Gantry Crane Operator - Key Responsibilities:

• Operate goliath or gantry cranes safely and efficiently

• Load and unload vehicles with sectional steel products

• Ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed throughout all operations

• Meet job deadlines and maintain quality standards

• Undertake paid overtime on Saturdays when required

Gantry Crane Operator - You:

• Have good product knowledge of steel sections

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, punctuality, and a willingness to learn various skills

• Thrive under pressure with enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and an unwavering commitment to safety

• Show flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing business needs
