Adapting teaching methods, resources and session structures to suit individual learning needs and abilities.

Breaking down challenging concepts into manageable steps to encourage understanding and independence.

Supporting revision, exam preparation and the development of effective study skills.

Helping the learner build confidence, motivation and positive attitudes towards education.

Supporting young people who may experience anxiety, low confidence, school avoidance or disengagement.

Responding calmly and consistently to challenging behaviour, using appropriate positive behaviour strategies where necessary.

Building a trusting professional relationship while maintaining clear boundaries and expectations.

Monitoring progress and providing feedback to parents, carers and other relevant professionals where appropriate.

Maintaining professional standards, confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.
