About the Role
Our client, a leader in bespoke manufacturing solutions, is looking for an innovative Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Wolverhampton . Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine mechanical designs using 3D CAD software, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Conduct design reviews and analyses (e.g., FEA, CFD) to validate design integrity.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new product designs.
- Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues and implementing design modifications.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or CATIA.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, fabrication).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and material properties.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, adaptable to hybrid work settings.
