Health & Safety Advisor – Harlow / Huntingdon

£40,000–£45,000 Harlow / Huntingdon Permanent

An established infrastructure contractor is preparing to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor to support projects across Harlow and Huntingdon.

The position will cover two operational areas within the water infrastructure sector and will involve working closely with site and operational teams to provide practical Health & Safety support.

The role is expected to include:

• Providing Health & Safety advice and support across operational sites

• Undertaking site inspections and audits

• Reviewing risk assessments and safe working arrangements

• Supporting accident and incident investigations

• Working with managers and site teams to improve Health & Safety performance

• Identifying areas for improvement and helping implement corrective actions

• Promoting a practical and positive approach to Health & Safety

Previous experience within construction, utilities, civil engineering or another operational environment would be particularly relevant.

You will need to be comfortable travelling across the Harlow and Huntingdon areas as required
