HGV Class 2 driver - NEWLY PASSED ACCEPTED Job : Temp to Perm 42 hours per week paid Start immediately Pay: £17.22 + Holiday £19.30 per hour Salary - £37K per Annum + up to £3K in bonuses

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to complete scheduled delivery and collection routes.

• Deliver to customers, including hotels, hospitals and other commercial sites.

• Collect used linen and return it to the depot as required.

• Load and unload cages.

• Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift.

• Ensure all delivery paperwork and relevant documentation are completed accurately.

• Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and customer service.

• Follow all road safety regulations, company procedures and health and safety requirements.

• Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers regarding deliveries or delays.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

• A good understanding of drivers' hours and road safety regulations.

• Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Physically capable of handling delivery and collection duties where required
