HR Advisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join their team, supporting operations across Cardiff and remotely. This role is crucial for providing day-to-day HR support, advising managers and employees on a wide range of HR issues, and contributing to the smooth functioning of HR operations. You will play a key part in ensuring best practices are followed and supporting the implementation of HR initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate HR advice and guidance to line managers and employees on ER, policy, and procedural matters.
• Support the management of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management.
• Assist with recruitment and selection processes, including job posting, screening, and interview support.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy in the HR Information System (HRIS).
• Support the implementation of HR projects and initiatives, working both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar HR Advisor role, or a strong HR Assistant background with significant advisory exposure.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
• CIPD Level 3 or above is desirable.
• Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
