About the Role
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and diligent HR Advisor to support their operations based in Milton Keynes . This role is crucial in providing comprehensive HR support and advice to employees and managers, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. You will play a key part in managing employee relations, supporting recruitment efforts, and contributing to the overall HR strategy of the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to employees and line managers on a range of HR issues including performance, conduct, and absence management.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, from job profiling to candidate onboarding for roles in Milton Keynes .
- Ensure the accurate and timely maintenance of employee records and HR systems.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
- Contribute to projects related to talent management, learning and development, and employee engagement.
- Handle and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary issues in a fair and timely manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar HR generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in the United Kingdom .
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Part or full CIPD qualification is desirable.
