About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join their team based in Birmingham . This hybrid role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the HR function by providing essential support to employees and management across various HR disciplines. You will be involved in day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, policy implementation, and HR project support, working closely with the wider HR team to foster a positive and productive workplace. This position requires a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility, ensuring a balanced approach to talent management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive HR advice and support to line managers and employees on a range of HR issues, including performance, conduct, and policy queries.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations, in a fair and consistent manner.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems, ensuring data integrity.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and organizational efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as an HR Advisor or in a similar HR generalist role.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification is preferred.
