HR Compliance Officer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable HR Compliance Officer to join their remote team, overseeing compliance matters across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring that all HR practices adhere to UK employment law, GDPR, and other relevant regulations. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining compliance policies, conducting audits, providing training, and advising on best practices to mitigate risk. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
• Conduct regular audits of HR processes and documentation to identify and rectify compliance gaps.
• Stay abreast of changes in employment law and regulations, advising the business accordingly.
• Manage data protection compliance, particularly in relation to GDPR.
• Develop and deliver training programs on HR compliance topics for employees and managers.
• Investigate and report on compliance breaches, recommending and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR Compliance Officer or in a similar compliance-focused HR role.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, GDPR, and related compliance frameworks.
• Experience in conducting HR audits and risk assessments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly.
