HR Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to lead their HR operations in Birmingham, West Midlands, UK . This role is instrumental in managing the day-to-day HR functions, including employee onboarding, policy development, and fostering a positive workplace culture. You will work closely with departmental heads to ensure HR initiatives are effectively implemented and support the company's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of human resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, and benefits administration.
• Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and legal requirements.
• Manage employee relations, addressing grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee development.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment law and regulatory standards.
• Support managers in performance management processes and talent development strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a broad HR role, with at least 2 years in a management capacity.
• Solid understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, and HR policy development.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
