About the Role
Our client is seeking a focused and organised HR Officer with a specialisation in employee relations to join their team in Bristol . This hybrid role allows for a balance of in-office collaboration and remote working, providing comprehensive support to employees and management on all aspects of employee relations. You will be instrumental in ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies, managing grievances, and supporting disciplinary processes. Key Responsibilities
- Support the HR team and line managers in managing employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
- Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures to ensure fair and consistent application.
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records related to employee relations matters.
- Contribute to proactive initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and reducing workplace conflict.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding processes with a focus on compliant procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, with a strong focus on employee relations.
- Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices, particularly concerning employee relations.
- Experience in handling grievances, disciplinary procedures, and investigations.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office.
- CIPD Level 5 or working towards it is desirable.
