About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and organised HR Officer to support their operations based in Cardiff . This role is crucial for the smooth functioning of the HR department, providing essential administrative and operational support to the wider HR team and employees. You will be involved in various HR processes, from recruitment administration to managing employee records and supporting HR initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Administer the recruitment process, including posting vacancies, screening CVs, and coordinating interviews.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records on the HR Information System (HRIS).
- Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees.
- Assist in the administration of payroll, benefits, and other HR-related schemes.
- Provide first-line HR support and guidance to employees on general HR queries.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR administration or HR Officer role.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good understanding of basic HR principles and UK employment law.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Working towards or holding a CIPD qualification is advantageous.
